Deuteronomy 31:1-3 NKJ
1 Then Moses went and spoke these words to all Israel.
2 And he said to them: “I am one hundred and twenty years old today. I can no longer go out and come in. Also, the Lord has said to me, ‘You shall not cross over this Jordan.’
3 The Lord your God Himself crosses over before you; He will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them. Joshua himself crosses over before you, just as the Lord has said."
The Israelites were about to cross over the Jordan River into the Promised Land, but their leader suddenly said, "Sorry, guys, I can't do it." Standing between them and the Promised Land was the mighty Jordan River, and now their main man, Moses, whom they had depended on, was no longer in a position to lead them across. The vision of the land they had waited for seemed just out of reach, and it might have felt like an insurmountable obstacle. But GOD had a plan. He reassured them that though Moses could not cross over, the Lord Himself would go before them. He had already prepared the way, and Joshua, a new leader, would take the mantle and lead them into the Promised Land.
There are times in life when it seems like the very people or circumstances you rely on to move forward are no longer available or able to help. You might face situations that feel like a Jordan River—impossible to cross without divine intervention. But just as GOD promised to go before the Israelites and lead them into victory, He will make a way for you too. The same GOD who parted the waters and brought His people through to their destiny is still at work today, ready to cross over before you. Trust that He is already preparing the way, and He will provide the strength and guidance you need to move forward, even when it feels like you can't go alone. GOD bless, share with your family and friends.
