Psalm 121:1, 2 - NIV -1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
When we think about all of the times that we have experienced being backed into a corner, we also remember how we have been rescued in moments. Maybe you experienced severe depression and ended up shutting yourself off from the rest of the world; in that circumstance, God sent someone to encourage and uplift you, not only with precise timing, but with precise words of encouragement. There are probably many other instances like this that you have experienced that seem to be far more than mere coincidences.
There are even many things that we have benefited from that we undoubtedly take for granted. When driving or walking to different locations, the very fact that we are able to make it from point A to point B safely is miraculous. We wake up day by day while others do not. Where are we getting our help from in the midst of so much death and chaos?
Matthew 5:45 says, "that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous." 2 Timothy 2:13 says, "If we are faithless,
He remains faithful.
He cannot deny Himself." We have failed God many times, yet His unfailing love continues to help, guide, and protect us. GOD bless. Share with your family and friends.
