Luke 21:25-28 NKJ - 25 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring.
26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
Do you know that we are in the period of time when the Son of Man can show up any day now? Are we living our lives like Jesus will be here any second now? It is easy to get caught up in the busyness of life and forget about the season we are in. How have we invested our time? Have we put all our chips in the things of this world that are only temporary?
We do not know the day nor the hour of when Jesus will come, but we know that we are in the final season. Even if He was going to come a hundred years from now, we may not see tomorrow because tomorrow is not promised. Therefore, live your life according to the season in that He may come at any moment. Let us not wait anxiously, but in hopeful expectation of the revealing of the Son of Man. What a glorious day that will be!
