Isaiah 43:1-2 -Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze
Father God says to you: " Trust Me and do not be afraid. It may seem to you like you are in the most challenging and darkest hour of your life. I know that you are tempted to feel that I have forgotten you but know and do not lose sight of the vital truth that I will sustain you through this trial. Allow me to comfort you in your present situation.
" Remember that I will be with you, whatever happens. You know this truth already but actually sensing My presence and experiencing the comfort it brings is something very different altogether.
Years ago, King David wrote that My presence filled him with joy as He took hold of My hand, and I led him along the path of life (see Psalm 16:11). I will do the same for you. My presence will take away your fear when you feel you are in over your head and the waters of life are very rough around you. You will not drown (see Isaiah 43:2)."
Many people find enormous comfort in Psalm 23, especially the lines in verse 4
"Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil [I will not be afraid]for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me [ You walk beside me and I feel secure].There is a nearness to God Most High that David experienced when he felt troubled or distressed, and you and I can know it too. Amen. GOD bless.
