1 John 1:7 NKJ - 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Paul, the apostle, wrote to the Corinthians and made it clear to them that their body was the temple of GOD (1 Corinthians 3:16). The problem is that GOD is Holy, and He cannot dwell in a defiled building. Man's body was defiled by sin in Genesis 3. GOD not only lost ownership of man but was also not able to dwell in them. For GOD to cleanse the temple(the body), He must purchase it to claim ownership. He must then clean and purify it in order for it to become His dwelling place.
So God executed the greatest plan imaginable in order to reclaim ownership, cleanse, and purify His earthly sanctuary(us). 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, "19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
You were bought with a price, the blood of Jesus, you were cleanse and purified with the same blood , you are the earthly Sanctuary of GOD Almighty. GOD bless.
