Ephesians 2:14-16 NKJ - 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,
16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
Although sin can be defined as a corruption of what is good, sin is ultimately what separates us from God. Separation from GOD is the equivalent of death because GOD is LIFE. Therefore, separation from God disconnects us from LIFE.
Whoever sins creates separation between him and God. Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." If everyone has sinned, then everyone has created separation between them and God. Because of this, we have disconnected ourselves from the source of life and are facing imminent death. However, it is through Christ alone that we receive reconciliation with God. The wall of sin that once separated us from God has been replaced by the bridge of Christ's sacrifice.
Reconciliation is a good thing. After all, it is the reason that we have life. The reconciliation of Christ leads us to exercise reconciliation in our lives. It is a blessing that creates an environment of healing and forgiveness, which is only made possible through Christ. GOD bless. Share with your family and friends.
