Hebrews 10:25 NKJ - Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching
These days, you don't have to go to church to see a worship service. You can just stay home in your pajamas and watch it online.
But the Bible makes it clear: you need a church family. This is why you need to gather with a group of believers and do life together as you follow Jesus.
Without a church family, you'll drift when it gets tough to trust in Christ. You will lose your sense of belonging, as you are already isolated from the rest of the church family. Eventually, without exhortation, accountability, and community, you will collapse under the weight of the burdens of life.
The Bible says we are to "share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ " (Galatians 6:2).
What is the law of Christ? It is to love one another. And how do we obey that law? By sharing each other's burdens. It is impossible to love others in isolation. It is impossible to "share each other's burdens"
If there is no one to share your burdens with.
A church is like a campfire with red hot coals. If you remove one single coal and set it aside, it will cool in a matter of minutes. But if you take a coal that has lost its heat and put it back into the fire, it gets hot again. That's the power of fellowship. If your faith is losing its fire, be sure you are connected in fellowship with other fired-up followers of Jesus.
Where are you connected to the body of Christ, the church? Who's encouraging you and others spiritually?
Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all his benefits!
GOD bless.
Share with your family and friends.
