Sometimes Blessings Comes With Affliction.

Genesis 29:32 NKJ - 32So Leah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Reuben; for she said, “The Lord has surely looked on my affliction. Now therefore, my husband will love me.”

You might probably think that it doesn't make sense to say, "Blessings comes with Affliction ". Because our expectations are that all blessings are without affliction. This story reflects sometimes it does, Jacob loves Rachel more than Leah, but GOD in His own divine ways closed Rachel's womb and not Leah. Through our daily lives, we must understand the fact that GOD works in mysterious ways.

To have children is a blessing in any culture, children continue the family line or it's like an inheritance to any mother. So, Leah was blessed with her first child, but it comes with affection according to her testimony. Her affliction is that Jacob doesn't love her, Jacob loved Rachel her sister more. In spite the love problem she faced, GOD still blessed her with a child, and this is the beginning of the nation of Israel.

We must trust GOD no matter what the circumstances are. To Rachel she's facing affliction but that didn't limited GOD from blessing her with the best gift of life. Let us acknowledge the Almighty with all that we have and praised Him all the time, for He is worthy to be praised. GOD bless, share with your family and friends.
