Psalm 36:5-7 NKJ - 5 Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
6 Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep;
O Lord, You preserve man and beast. 7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.
The bible speaks frequently about how the love of God endures forever. One of God's defining attributes is His love, which is displayed throughout all of scripture to the most stubborn of people. We are included in that stubbornness, as we too have constantly rebelled against the just law of God. Our corrupt hearts have led us astray according to our own folly. When we make mistakes and suffer the consequences of those mistakes, we tend to blame God as if He has not loved us.
Malachi 1:2 says, “I have loved you,” says the LORD. “But you ask, ‘How have you loved us?’ It may seem strange that God's love for us does not change in the midst of our circumstances, but our circumstances are not the metric by which we measure God's love. God's love can only be seen as much as we are willing to see. Many of the displays of God's love are often invisible to us because we are blinded by our own pride, bitterness, and selfishness. It is not until we put ourselves aside and exercise true love that we begin to see GOD'S Love everywhere. Do not limit GOD'S Love in your life but rid yourself of selfishness to truly see God's everlasting love! GOD bless.
